The oldest and strangest story I hear tell is of a vast, buried, supine body - a female body - a demoness - underlying all the high plateau of the Himalayan Mountains. By the time I’m twenty, I’m not pretty any more. I’m handsome. I have a distaste for marriage, but he rides by one day on his silver Rolls and sweeps me away. Well - motors me away. He’s a sweet man. Very practical. Mapping a marriage, he says, is like designing a garden. One has to get the geometry right. It’s a matter of buildings and space.
