The story of Sweet Fanny Adams in Eden was familiar to many in Pitlochry. The original theatrical version of the story was performed in the Scottish Plant Collectors Garden in 2003.

Edinburgh based company Creative Artworks led the workshops at Pitlochry School over 2 weeks in June 2005. The 10 year olds in Primary 6 at the school explored the story’s main character Lily, based on butterfly collector Margret Fountain, and Little Red Riding Hood. Scenes from her life (including some new stories imagined by the children themselves) were carefully illustrated on clay-and-cardboard butterflies.
