The Yorkshire round of workshops were run by Creative Artworks and PuppetLab. Two weeks were spent at Tang Hall Community Centre, teaching attendees the rudiments of puppet making and puppetry. The themes and characters of Sweet Fanny Adams were used as inspiration.
For the duration of the podCasting project, every Monday we will post photos from the York workshops (we have begun posting photos from the other workshops on Wednesday and Friday).
To begin with, here is one of our favourite puppets, which is reminiscent of that found in Angela Carter’s story, ‘The Loves of Lady Purple’.
